Email Verification
After registering, you must verify your email address before you can use DocSnap. This ensures your account is secure and that important notifications reach you.
Verification Process
- After registration, check your inbox for an email from DocSnap
- Open the email and tap the verification link
- The link opens in your browser and confirms your email
- The DocSnap app detects the verification automatically and logs you in
You can verify from any device -- phone, tablet, or computer. The DocSnap app polls for verification status every 10 seconds and will automatically proceed once your email is confirmed.
If You Don't Receive the Email
- Check your spam/junk folder -- verification emails sometimes land there
- Wait a few minutes -- email delivery can take up to 5 minutes
- Resend the email -- tap the "Resend" button on the verification screen in the app
- Check the email address -- make sure you entered it correctly during registration
Resend is rate-limited to prevent abuse: you can resend once per minute, up to 5 times per hour.
How Verification Works
When you tap the verification link in your email:
- The link opens a web page at
app.openesl.com - The page confirms your email with the server
- A success message is displayed
- If you're on your phone, the page attempts to open DocSnap directly
Meanwhile, the DocSnap app is polling in the background. Once the server confirms your email, the app automatically transitions to the main screen -- no manual action needed.
Already Verified?
If you've already verified your email but the app still shows the verification screen:
- Close and reopen the DocSnap app
- Try logging in with your email and password
- If issues persist, contact support
